I am so sick of all this hatred and racism and, well, bullshit.

I watch the news, and I see newspapers, listen to the radio… it all makes me so terribly sad… I strongly believe that you should be able to come to this country and live free and happy. You should be able to practice your religion, identify with your culture and past, live peacefully… but you have to live by our laws and make an attempt to live within our culture.
For example, arranged marriages: Would I ever agree to one? No. But, I haven’t grown up in a culture where that is the norm. Do I think they should be illegal in our country because of this? No. As long as no-one is being forced into it and both partners are old enough to be getting married as per OUR laws, then why shouldn’t they?

For everyone’s sake, we HAVE to get past this “Us and Them” mentality we all have… We are all human beings at the end of the day and THAT is all that should matter… When I meet a new person that’s exactly what I see, a PERSON. I sell beds for a living, will the colour of your skin or your sexuality or choice of religion affect the bed you can buy? Of course not! All that matters is that it’s the right one for you, and only you can decide that…

I’m sorry for ranting… but I won’t apologise for my views. If we could just look past our differences and see our similarities for a change, we’d realise that we aren’t so different after all. I sincerely hope that one day we will…

And yet guys NEVER believe me when I say this to them… *sigh*

While it’s flattering and nice to know people have noticed that you’ve been losing weight and all, but it’s kind of creepy when everyone in the class seems to notice and feel the need to comment on it…

Also, I wish I knew how I do it… My lecturers seem to love me… And I simply don’t get why…

Oh well, don’t question it I guess, just thank the gods that it’s in my favour…

Dear all customers: please do not get snarky or yell at your serving staff, it is NOT their fault if the ticket prices are wrong. When they are going out of their way to try and help you and get to the bottom of a problem, please try and be patient, remember they are actually TRYING to help. And lastly, sometimes people think it’s funny to mess with tickets or are too lazy to put items back in their correct place… LEARN TO USE THE PRICE CHECKERS! THEY DO WORK! If you can’t be bothered to check the price of an item, don’t bitch to me when it scans wrong and I then have to tell you that the price it scanned at is the price you will have to pay if you wish to continue with your purchase… Thank you for your attention. Now piss off, and have a miserable day.
